Famine Audio and Paperback Updates, 2021 Release Schedule, and More!

Hey all!

Happy New Year’s! So happy to put that dumpster fire of a year behind us! I’ve got all sorts of updates for you, so let’s hop right into it!

Famine Audiobook and Paperbacks are Now Available

Famine (The Four Horsemen #3) is now available both in audiobook format and in paperback. Here’s the link to the paperback version. If you like listening to your books, you can find the audiobook of Famine here on Amazon, here on Audible, or on iTunes (which I can’t find a link to at the moment, so you’ll have to hunt for it on your own—yes, I know I’m extremely professional ;).

My 2021 Release Schedule

The only book I have slated for release in 2021 is Death (The Four Horsemen #4). If you use Goodreads, you can add it to your “To Read” list here. (The pre-order for Death isn’t up yet, and probably won’t be until I’ve finished writing the book.)

I don’t know what month this final book in The Four Horsemen series will release, though I’ve been saying that it won’t come out until the end of 2021 just to be safe. It’s entirely possible that it will come out much sooner—and it’s also entirely possible that I’ll release another book by the end of 2021. I’ve only released one book per year for the last two years, but during those two years I had a crazy pregnancy, followed by maternity leave, and then quarantine—all of which slowed down my productivity. (I’ve also been working on other books behind the scenes.) If, in 2021, nothing else crops up, my writing pace should pick up again, which means more books!

I’ve been getting a few questions on what books I will be releasing after Death, so here goes: Death is the last book in The Four Horseman series. I won’t be writing any spinoffs in that world. Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on two separate trilogies, one a paranormal romance, the other a fantasy romance. Both are a little lighter than my Four Horsemen series (relatively speaking), but they will all still feature romance as a central theme. I’m not finished with either, so after Death, I’ll pick one of these series up to completely finish, and then I’ll begin to release the books in the series. Ideally. I might jump the gun early because I’m hella impatient.

I will also be working on finishing the final book in The Vanishing Girl series, but that won’t happen until after I finish one of these trilogies. Oh, and for those of you who love my fae world, I just finished plotting out a series for the Fauna Kingdom, and I already have an outline for novels in the Flora Kingdom and the Day Kingdom. And there are two other series that I’ve been plotting and outlining that are totally separate from anything else I’ve so far mentioned, so now the real issue is actually writing all these books as fast as they come to me. It’s a good problem to have, and I hope you all stick around to read them! So excited to share more about these projects with you in the future!

Want to Hang Out More?

I try to keep these emails to a minimum, because I personally hate getting spammed. That being said, those of you who would like to interact more with me can do so on my Facebook author page (here) or in my Facebook reader group (here). I’m also fairly active on Instagram (you can find my account here), and I love answering questions and squealing about good books on Goodreads (here). Also, bonus, but right now on Instagram there’s a giveaway going on for signed copies of Famine and over half a dozen other books by paranormal romance and fantasy authors. You can find the giveaway here.

That’s it for now! Please stay safe and don’t be a stranger!

Hugs and happy reading,

Laura
