The Moonlight Cravings Anthology: Moonlight Rhapsody

Hi all!

While I’m busy editing away on The Vanishing Girl and The Cursed, I have another awesome project to tell you all about!

Coming soon, I will be releasing a paranormal romance novella in The Moonlight Cravings Anthology. I’m ridiculously excited about this, both because it’s a new genre for me, and because I’m working alongside some other lovely authors! For those of you who are fans of King Hall, Scarlett Dawn is also publishing a novella in the anthology as well—so twice the reason to read it! Make sure to add it on Goodreads if you’re interested!

I wrote up a rough sketch on what it’s about and inserted it below. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Here’s the story’s description:

Callypso Lillis is a siren with a very big problem, one that stretches up her arm and far into her past. For the last ten years she’s been collecting a bracelet of black beads up her wrist, magical IOUs for favors she’s received. Only death or repayment will fulfill the obligations. Only then will the beads disappear.

Everyone knows that if you need a favor, you go to the Bargainer to make it happen. He’s a man who can get you anything you want … at a price. And everyone knows that sooner or later he always collects.

But for one of his clients, he’s never asked for repayment. Not until now. When Calli finds the Bargainer in her room, a grin on his lips and a twinkle in his eye, she knows things are about to change. At first it’s just a chaste kiss—a single bead’s worth—and a promise for more.

But as the payment increases, turning both physical and emotional, Calli finds she’s got another problem. She’s already in a relationship with a shapeshifting bounty hunter, one who’s not too keen on sharing. When he discovers the Bargainer’s payment plan, the Bargainer finds himself on a paranormal hit list. Now Calli is faced with a dilemma: allow the Bargainer to die and free herself of her obligations, or save his life and fulfill them all.

If you enjoyed that description, make sure to add the anthology to your “to-read” list on Goodreads and check out some of the other lovely ladies contributing!

Happy reading,
Laura
